Series of personal poster concept designs. Exploring more with the use of grid structures, type and layout for a better understanding of the relationship of image & text.
Taking inspiration from Emily Xie (Futur’s upcoming top designer) I experimented with type placement to give a feeling of motion to the design.
The intention of this design was to build up the death star with a series of basic shapes, halftones and textures. Getting the correct level of contrast was my key concern with this design.
Redbull : Mission to Stratos
Redbull mission to stratos. This poster’s intention was to pay tribute to the the man Felix Baumgartner who fell from the stratosphere setting the world record for skydiving 39 km!
Kiss My Airs
Researching into past advertisement posters by Nike, I desired to create an eye catching design that focuses on the shoe and it’s weightlessness.
As a big fan of this film I couldn’t resist having a stab at designing this poster. Researching past poster designs the core focus was on the hammer. One of my initial attempts with utilizing 3D in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Chief Isle of Dogs
Having seen the film, I decided to create a graphic focusing on Chief, the Alphapack leader. Having Chief’s name placed multiple times within the figure, was to create key focal points in the poster.

A re-branding project for a tea room in Nottingham called Ila’s Little Tea Shoppe. Part of this brief consisted of re-designing a suitable logo that could be used.
